BIO: Jiashen Teh (M’17) received the B.Eng. degree (Hons.) in electrical and electronic engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Kajang, Malaysia, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K., in 2016. He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia, an Adjunct Professor with the Green Energy and Electronic Center, National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, and an Advisor of the IET-USM on Campus society. His research interests include power system reliability analysis, renewable energy sources, and smart grid applications. He is also currently working toward his professional engineering registration with the BEM and IET. He is a member of the IET and a registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Gheorghe Grigoras este absolvent al Facultatii de Electrotehnica, actuala Facultate de Inginerie Electrica, Energetica si Informatica Aplicata din cadrul Universitatii Tehnice "Gheorghe Asachi" Iasi, specializarea Electroenergetica, promotia 1999. Pana in 2004 a ocupat functiile de preparator universitar, respectiv de asistent universitar in acelasi departament, iar din octombrie 2004 pana in prezent functia de sef de lucrari (lector universitar). In anul 2005 a sustinut teza de doctorat in specializarea Inginerie Energetica cu tema "Tehnici noi de supraveghere si conducere a sistemelor electroenergetice", fiind titularul urmatoarelor discipline: Metode numerice in inginerie (MN), Sisteme de conducere, supraveghere si achizitii de date (SCSAD), Retele si echipamente pentru conducerea sistemelor energetice (RECSE), Tehnici moderne de conducere (TMC), Strategii si decizii optimale in energetica (SDOE), Modelarea si optimizare proceselor energetice industriale (MOPEI).

BIO: Farhad Shahnia (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical power engineering (first class Hons.) from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2004 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in 2011. He is currently an Associate Professor with Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia. His research interests include distribution networks, power quality, and application of power electronic in power systems.

BIO: Muhyiddine Jradi, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Energy Engineering and the leader of the Building Energy Applications Group at the Center of Energy Informatics at the University of Southern Denmark. He has a mechanical engineering background and received his PhD degree in Sustainable Building and Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham, in 2014. Dr Jradi's main research interests include energy efficient systems, building energy modelling and simulation, energy renovation, multi-generation systems, energy systems numerical modelling and simulation, renewable energy and energy storage. Dr Jradi is currently leading and taking part in multiple international research projects in collaboration with industrial partners and public parities with funding exceeding 4 million USD. In addition, he is serving as a member of multiple journal editorial boards and international conferences’ scientific committees. He has received multiple awards including the Dean of Engineering Research Scholarship for International Excellence from the University of Nottingham and the Sakkal Renewable Energy Award from the American University of Beirut. Dr Jradi research work has led to more than 140 academic publications in leading journals and international conferences.
